"WHY? THE MUSICAL" DUBAI EXPO 2020

​From 2020-2022, Dana worked with legendary maestro A.R. Rahman to write 3 original songs for the Dubai Expo 2020 show "Why? The Musical" directed by Oscar nominated Shekhar Kapoor.

Type Two Error

Type Two Error is experimental and sensual electronica// a collaboration between Dana Dajani and analogue electronic music producer Aaron Kim. 

​The duo released an EP in 2014, which features 4 tracks ( iTunes) and have performed their original music at various music festivals in the UAE, accompanied by the live visuals of Firas Khalifeh.

FLOETICS

Floetics  was a collaboration of poetry, melody, and lyric-- an experimental riff on rhythm and rhyme. The soulful voice of Layla Kardan and the tantalizing wordplay of Dana Dajani was brought to life by Ansar on Guitar, and the collaborative stylings of amazing and established musicians from around Dubai.

Floetics performed at prestigious private events like the Global Education and Skills Forum, the Action Care Gala, the Dubai International Writer's Center Anniversary, and many of Dubai's premier music venues and festivals, including:
